Toulon is located on a network of coastal paths that starts at Six-Fours in the west and continues to Hyères in the east. The mountain of 584 meters behind Toulon made it such an attractive port in antiquity. 4- Tartiflette

Tartiflette is a famous dish originating in the French Alps and is normally served during the winter. Tartiflette does not contain many ingredients and is quite simple and tasty. Potatoes, onions, bacon and soft cheese are all you need: the potatoes are fried with onions and bacon in a pan, after which white wine is poured on top and everything is reduced. The cheese is cut in half and put on top of the ingredients so that it can melt on the plate while it is in the oven.
