2- Relax at Place De La Savane

Place De La Savane is a park located between Fort Saint Louis and the Schœlcher Library. It is a large park of green grass, diversified with palm trees and trees. Next to the park is an alleyway with street food outlets, a good place to relax after visiting the rest of the city. Nearby is the statue of Empress Josephine, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte.

3- Jardin de Balata

For two decades, starting in 1982, the horticulturist Jean-Philippe Thoze has been looking after an incomparable variety of rare tropical plants, including 300 different varieties of palm trees. You will be enchanted by the bright colours of the flowers that stand out in this garden.

4- Langouste Grillée

The species of lobster that lives at the bottom of the waters of Martinique and the rest of the Caribbean is the spiny lobster. It is often split in half, grilled, and seasoned with chien- a condiment whose ingredients include chives, onions, peppers and lime juice.
