6 things to do in Miami

Miami is first and foremost glamour, sun and sea, but if you dig a little deeper you will find activities for all tastes in Miami. Here are 6 things to do!

1- Explore the Everglades National Park

A short distance from Miami, the Everglades National Park covers 1.5 million acres of swamp, home to alligators, snakes, crocodiles and a myriad of birds. In addition to wildlife observation trails and boardwalks, one of the most exciting ways to see the Everglades is aboard a high-speed seaplane!

2- Visit Bayfront Park

Located on the east side of Biscayne Boulevard, Bayfront Park was renovated and renovated in the 1980s. Highlights include a huge amphitheater used for a series of musical events and shows, a laser lighting tower and three very important monuments; the monument dedicated to the crew of the challenger plane that exploded in 1986, the "Touch of friendship", a symbol of Miami's relationship with Central and South America and the World War II Memorial.

3- Take a slow walk on Ocean Drive

Miami
Along the oceanfront of Miami Beach and past the iconic sands of South Beach, Ocean Drive is a popular tourist destination by day and night and offers a great opportunity for those with a special interest in the skyline and unique scenes Miami has to offer. The Beacon is one of the most exciting and noteworthy structures in the area, but don't forget to look at the beautiful pastel colored art deco buildings as well.

4- Sunbathing in South Beach

Renowned for being the most popular section of Miami beach, in the summer the beach is full of locals and visitors from all over the world, but in the winter months the area becomes more of a cool area and is a great place to take a walk admiring the art deco buildings that form the backdrop to the beach.

5- Visit Crandon Park

Miami
South of Miami Beach and through the Rickenbacker Causeway you will find Key Biscayne, a beautiful but small area with breathtaking beaches and fantastic parks. Crandon Park is probably the most visited park in the area and for good reason. The presence of coral reefs here indicates that the swimming conditions are ideal and the water is very clean. Also in the park, you will find an Amusement Center and a Nature Center that add even more charm to the park.

6- Strolling in the Tropical Botanical Garden of Fairchild

The Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden has an extensive collection of rare tropical plants, including vines, flowering trees and cycads. The gardens are open all year round, except on Christmas Day. Among the works of art to note is the rainforest by Richard H. Simons, built thanks to a generous concession, which showcases the habitat of tropical rainforests and often endangered all over the world.
