6 things to do in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is known for many things: the entertainment industry, wide beaches and a renowned nightlife. Let's discover 6 things to do in Los Angeles!

1- Walk on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

In 1961, after numerous heated debates on which celebrities should have had a star, the construction of the Walk of Fame was completed. At that time there were 1,558 stars, today there are more than 2,600, with more added every year. Along the way, you can also admire the historic Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, as well as the legendary TLC Chinese Theater, home to many important film premieres and, for at least three years, the Academy Awards.

2- Theme parks

Disneyland and its twin park, California Adventure, are rather self-explanatory theme parks, and their princely castles and magical land full of fairy tale characters are universally known. If you are a fan or travel with children, don't miss them!

3- Take a ride on Rodeo Drive

Los Angeles
Rodeo Drive is synonymous with luxury and well-being. Although the Beverly Hills road is 3.2 kilometers long, Rodeo Drive is a much shorter stretch, bordered to the south by Wilshire Boulevard and to the north by Santa Monica Boulevard. High-end stores, including Louis Vuitton, Versace and Dior, are at home in this area. Visitors can also make a stop at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, whose exterior starred in the movie Pretty Woman.

4- Evening at Sunset Strip

Home to legendary music venues, Sunset Strip has seen major rock shows since the 1960s. But the Strip is not only music, because it also hosts famous hotels as well as big comedy clubs like The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory. On any given night, you might run into world-class celebrities, music gods and comic legends as you dine, drink and take a ride on this famous boulevard.

5- Huntington Library

Los Angeles
Not only bibliophiles may wish to visit the beautiful Huntington library, where there is a garden that will immediately transport you into an Asian atmosphere. Roses and marble statues surround the ponds and waterfalls, with a Japanese style bridge in the center. Here you can sit among the flowers and read or relax in the silence of the garden.

6- Walk along the promenade between Venice Beach and Santa Monica

Along this famous stretch of road by the sea are the famous Muscle Beach, basketball courts, a skate park and much more. Street performers perform singing and dancing, while other merchants sell their art products along the way. Every bit of Los Angeles culture can be found on the waterfront. If you want to experience the area as a resident, hop on a bike and follow the street through the attractions of Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
