The must-do's in London

The capital London is vibrant, lively and cosmopolitan. Impossible to get bored there, there are many things to discover. Here is our top selection of things to do in London:

Attend the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace

It's an amazing show. The changing of the guard immerses you in the world of the English monarchy. This ceremony lasts about 40 minutes and attracts thousands of tourists every day. Admire the dozens of royal guards in red suits and bear-hair headdresses who parade to the rhythm of the brass band, some on foot and others on horseback.

Visit the British museum

Follow in the footsteps of human history and culture. The British Museum is one of the richest museums in the world. Archaeology enthusiasts will be served, as the British Museum contains countless remains, mummies and mythical pieces.

Visit the Tower Bridge

The Tower Bridge is recognizable from afar thanks to its two huge Gothic style towers and its sky blue frames. It is a symbolic monument of London. This bridge was built over the Thames at the end of the 19th century. You can cross it on foot and also visit the old engine room inside the towers.

Visit the Tate Modern

The Tate Modern is an old power station, located on the banks of the Thames. Today it is one of the most famous museums of contemporary art in the city. Here you will discover the greatest works of art of the 20th and 21st century, arranged thematically on seven levels. Salvador Dali, Chris Marker, Picasso, Matisse... All the most prestigious artists of our time are represented here.

Take the red bus

To get around, the best known means of transport with the subway (metro) is the bus. London has many red double-decker bus lines. Buy a ticket at the station and admire London while you are traveling!

Going to the market in Camden

The Camden market is located north of London. In a trendy and atypical area, you will find street food from all over the world as well as a huge flea market. All along the main street you will find eccentric clothing stores, piercing and tattoo parlors, second-hand stores... The facades of the stores are all decorated in a very original way with giant frescoes. A detour that's worth it!
