1- Schönbrunn Palace

Standing since 1600 and with a role of great cultural importance in Austria, the Schonbrunn Palace is a colossal structure of 1441 rooms, the main tourist attraction in Vienna. The Habsburgs have resided there for many years. The palace is a huge building designed in Baroque style with a symmetrical main building with hundreds of windows and statues on the roof. You can take a tour of the rooms and admire the sumptuous furnishings and see how the Austrian royalty lived.

2- Hofburg Palace

The Hofburg Palace is another huge complex that pays homage to the power and influence of the Habsburg dynasty and was the main winter palace for the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire for hundreds of years. Today it houses the offices of the President of Austria.

3- St. Stephen's Cathedral

In Stephensplatz you will find what has been the most important church in Vienna and Austria since its construction. The beauty of this building is undeniable and its huge tower dominates the skyline of Vienna and stands as the highest bell tower in Austria. Inside the church there are a total of 18 altars, several smaller chapels and some tombs and catacombs.
 

4- Schonbrunn Gardens

Part of the Schonbrunn complex, the gardens are worth a visit in their own right. The park stretches from the Palace for over a kilometer and you can spend hours walking through the various sections and exhibitions. Here you can lose yourself in the characteristic hedge maze and admire the Neptune Fountain, a splendid work of art.
