4 things to see in Phuket

Phuket, the largest island among the archipelagos of the country, is nicknamed "the Pearl of the South". Let's discover 4 things to see in Phuket!

1- Dream beaches

Imagine a blonde sandy beach, a turquoise sea, two or three peaks planted in the bay in the distance, add a traditional pirogue in the center and you will get the image that websites systematically offer you on Phuket. Think of it as a publicity stunt, but this image corresponds perfectly to the reality you will see on site. Go to Phang Nga Bay, and admire the masterpiece of nature at sunset, you will understand why tourists come en masse to Thailand.

2- The Thai Jungle

The island is covered with 70% vegetation and there are several national parks to explore. Discover the mangroves of Koh Siray, the rainforest of Khao Phra Thaeo National Park or the panorama offered by the Mai Tao Sip Song from the top of its 529 meters.

3- The Buddha of Nakkerd

Phuket
This huge Buddha is one of the most famous landmarks in all of Phuket, sitting on top of the Nakkerd hills. From the top of the hill you can enjoy a panoramic view of the island. When you are at the Buddha you will notice that the area is very quiet, apart from the sound of dharma music and some bells. The Buddha is made of white Burmese marble and shines elegantly in the sun.

4- Karon Viewpoint

South of Kata Noi Beach is the Karon viewpoint, the most popular in Phuket, normally crowded with tourists every day. The lookout point overlooks the Andaman Sea in one direction and at the other point towards the three beaches on the west coast on the other side of the island. If you like to look at the white sandy beaches and the beautiful blue sea, you will understand why it is so crowded at the top.
