4 things to see when visiting Bali

Bali is an island full of activities to enjoy and attractions to visit. Among the many offers of this little paradise we have selected 4 things not to be missed in a visit to Bali. Here they are:

1- Tegalalang Rice Terrace

A very popular tourist meeting point in Bali and a must on many Bali routes, without a doubt the Tegalalang rice paddies are one of the most beautiful places to visit in Bali. A truly impressive sight: the rice paddies stretch as far as the eye can see and their characteristic terraces give them a wavy shape, similar to ocean waves. A place where you can get lost walking for hours!

2- Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida is an almost untouched island near Bali. Here you won't find social life, classic tourist activities or trendy restaurants, but Nusa Penida is home to some of the most beautiful places in Bali, especially some unforgettable beaches! You can easily reach the island from Bali thanks to the many sea connections.

3- Tanah Lot Temple

The silhouette of the Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali's most popular iconic features. The temple stands on a rock facing the open ocean, an extremely impressive place. It is believed that the Temple of Tanah Lot dates back to the 16th century, the work of Dang Hyang Nirartha, Bali's historic religious figure. On a trip to Bali you can't help but visit a place of such great charm!

4- Sekumpul Waterfall

The Sekumpul waterfall is located in the mountains of northern Bali, about 2 hours from the main tourist centers of Canggu, Kuta and Ubud. The waterfall is a bit out of the way and rather difficult to reach but the effort to reach it will be rewarded by the wonderful spectacle in front of it. There are three ways to visit the waterfall: sight only, medium trekking and long trekking. Every visitor to Sekumpul Falls is obliged to hire a guide for the duration of their visit, partly for the safety of the visitors themselves, partly to support the maintenance of the Sekumpul area.

These are just some of the places to visit in Bali, an island full of charm and more. There are also many activities that visitors can do, we recommend some of them in 6 things to do in Bali. Don't miss also our tips on Balinese cuisine with the 4 dishes to enjoy in Bali!
