Nowadays, you can take flights to India with the airline whenever you desire. You can fly to domestic destinations like Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur, Goa or Chennai, or travel further afield by booking Air India tickets to Australia, France, China, the United Kingdom, Italy or the United States.
Whenever you take Air India flights, you can expect to be well treated. All of the airline's fleet use Thales entertainment systems to provide in-flight movies, TV shows and other content in both English and Hindi. There are bilingual in-flight magazines, a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines and complimentary drinks, even for economy travellers. Cuisine options also cater for all of India's different communities, with Jain, Kosher, Muslim and Hindu meals all on offer.
Air India currently operates a fleet of 108 aircraft, with a mixture of Boeing and Airbus vessels. All flights are included in the Flying Returns frequent flier program, which allows you to accumulate miles for future flights, upgrade to premium lounges and access promotional offers that are only available to customers to take Air India flights. Baggage allowances vary by route, but passengers can generally take 8kg of hand luggage and 25kg of checked luggage with them when they travel.
